I was happy to hear from Alicia that in her opinion, prolapse of
the bladder is not a reason to wean. I am not a medical
professional, but it also seems to me, just logically, that this
problem is primarily a structural one, and that any hormonal or
circulatory contribution would be minimal, if that.
I would like to propose that all interested parties contribute
for the Net Sneer their favorite most-ridiculous-reason-to-wean.
The best one that I heard of was the mother who was complaining
of episiotomy pain and was advised to wean by her mother-and-
child public health clinic nurse. Anyone? Judy Knopf
