I have been following this discussion with interest. I see some problems
with hospital staff in my area not getting women started soon enough. I
think part of the problem is inconsistency among providers and in policy.

Does anyone have any policies or guidelines regarding pumping guidelines
that they would like to share? I am also interested in patient education
handouts about expressing milk for an ill baby. I have the Medela tear
sheets but they don't really fit this situation. You can e-mail it to me
PRIVATELY if it is a MS Word document or fax it to me if that is convenient
(508)302-8165.

Many thanks,
