Hi all! I've been reading your posts for a couple of weeks now and am
learning so much! I am the mother of a 1 year old girl and we are in a
very well established and happy breast feeding relationship.
Motherhood has made me a passionate breast feeding advocate and I am
wondering what is the best way for me to help others. I see that most
of you are IBCLC certified, yet most have come from medical
backgrounds. Is that a requirement to seek such a certification? I
hold a M.A. in Education and taught in the classroom before having my
daughter. I hope someone would be kind enough to steer me down a good
path. Thank you!
