Never heard of this one either.  Could it be nitrofurantoin?  If it
is, it is *not* contraindicated during breastfeeding.  If it isn't, it
probably isn't contraindicated.  Could you get more info?  Is this a
generic or Trade name?

Unless the physician can come up with strong evidence that this is
dangerous for the baby, the mother should strongly consider continuing
breastfeeding.  I would.  When in doubt, continue breastfeeding.
