Here in NJ, it is illegal to treat a student differently because of her status as a mother (we have a strong state policy against discrimination of all kinds), and therefore, forcing a teen mom to be on home instruction because of pumping would probably be considered discrimination. This type of "law" usually exists by regulation. It also came to mind that school officials might be persuaded by medical evidence linking BF to better intelligence, etc.
