One of my issues with the whole thyroid issue is that when moms show up as
'in the range of normal' (whatever that 'normal' may be) but are having
symptoms NO ONE will treat them! That is issue #1.

Issue #2 is that understanding the whole thyroid concept fully has escaped
me. Is there any literature that can explain the TSH, T4, T3 complexity in
a manner that actually makes sense for someone with NO medical background?

I myself have had thyroid challenges over the years - No one would treat me
- so I treated myself with herbs and such. And while I got my own issues
fairly well resolved a few years ago there is no way I would recommend to
any of my clients to do the same (even though I'd really like to) because 1)
I don't remember what I took because I was also treating hormonal imbalance
and brain chemistry (depression) at the same time and 2) all the herbs to
look up to ensure safety with breastfeeding.oi!

So - question: Besides a "Thyroid Level explanation for Dummies" :-), is
there a safe herbal protocol that I can pass on to moms who need treatment
but whose Docs refuse to treat, or for those who would prefer to go more
holistically??

Thanks!
