Does anyone have some type of "evaluation form" that is used in your
hospital to evaluate your performance as an IBCLC? I know I can make one up
using the Scope of practice etc., but just was interested if something
already was in place. We are in the process of adding a 2nd IBCLC part
time, and have been trying to figure out what is "fair" and just in wages.
A set salary with the expectation of a 40 hour week (which always seems to
require more hours) or an hourly salary.
Are most hospitals still going by the 1 IBCLC for every 1000 births???
Thanks for any information shared,
Evelyn Landry, RN, IBCLC, RLC
