Marita, you are so right and this sort of situation is a great one to bring
to an ethics committee if your facility has one, even after the fact, for
certainly this kind of situation will come up again. Also, as someone else
posted, L&D staff and nicu staff (and others) should certainly be skilled in
grief counseling and related issues.
