I'm so sorry about all the incorrect information being handed out to
nursing students! How frustrating! I learned next to nothing about
lactation in school, except that with mastitis, the mom should keep
nursing, and breasts get really hard when the milk comes in. That's all
I can remember from it! (Then again, I graduated in 1992, had my OB
rotation in 1991, and my two children keep stealing my brain cells!) I
have learned most of what I know from nursing my own kids, and since
I've become involved in LLL, I keep learning more from my moms!! :)

What bothers me in particular, is that nobody seems to care that they
are giving out incorrect information. I wonder if the wrong info had
been, say, about the cardiovascular system, would someone care then? *sigh*
