The mother should try to tailor her diet to include the foods that the
infant is not allergic to. (fairly obvious) and look for ways to add
calories to her diet that are also low allergenicity (work with a
nutritionist, dietician, or allergist) such as avocado and olive oils, for
example. Perhaps investigate and try foods not usual in her culture/exposure
(for example don't think Western diet) but try Greek cuisine, South Pacific
- just throwing out ideas - like lamb, coconut, hummus - not sure if these
are high or low allergenic but think outside the box.
