Hello everyone! I saw a mom today who bf her first without difficulty 7+
yrs ago, then had breast augmentation without nipple/areolar manipulation in
1990. Since that surg. she describes her breasts as very tender & touchy on
the nipples and has had pain with any manipulation. She just delivered her
second child last pm, uneventful birth, excellent latch & position with good
suck & swallows, no recent antibiotics, no yeast history. Bfing is bearable
in terms of pain, but she would like to know if there is a way to ease this
pain. She has decided to "tough it out for the duration" but obviously pain
relief would be great. She believes it is nerve damage from the surg. Does
anyone have tips on what to do. I am totally clueless...
