Domperidone is approved by the FDA for compassionate use only. This is a
special restriction usually used in cases where another equivalent
medication is not available or to save the life of a person with a rare
condition. Why Domperidone is still in this category is a mystery to me
when it appears to be widely available elsewhere and much safer than many of
the new drugs that are being actively marketed for such things as hair loss
and impotence.
Any other theories out there?
