 I'm coming into this quite late, probably missed quite a few posts from this thread; apologize if this has already been suggested.
Has mother considered "lactoengineering" the supplemental breastmilk?   If she's already pumping, she could skim the cream and add it to another bottle.  Uses breast compressions faithfully?  I find so many mothers tell me they're using breast compressions/massage, then I watch baby breastfeed and mother only uses them when the baby has already fallen asleep.

Sorry again for what I'm sure is repetition.
