I am reading a most wonderful book about narcissism...as a psychiatric
disorder and also as a societal tendency in the US. It is written by Dr.
A. Lowen.......MD and author of many "self-help psychology" books.

The degree to which Dr. Lowen advocates breastfeeding, attachment
parenting, and even home birth is remarkable. He is of the opinion that
these practices would eliminate the growing number of cases of
Narcissistic disorder in the US.

I recommend Dr. Lowen's book to those working in the fields of birth and
breastfeeding. It is inspiring to read how important our work is!
