Just an example, maybe not at all relevant to this case?

My quite older "baby", at 15 months, is at the 50th percentile for height and 5th (!) percentile for weight.  Of course, I worry, but his ped does not, saying that this is how my toddler has been growing since we adopted him at seven months of age. Also, he is from South Korea, so perhaps more fine-boned than those of us of European descent?
