Is anyone else under the assumption that this newest Abbott news release
that shows we are "on the way" to the Healthy People 2010 goal, is a crack
at trying to yet further undermine the need for the Ad Council's
breastfeeding PSA's?! That it should surface *now*, this release reeks of
suspicious motives, especially with the dramatic title in the headlines
touting "soaring" breastfeeding rates. I would hardly call initiation
rates of 70.1% "soaring." I think the timing of this release is no
accident, and I would bet this is one more tactic to either stop or dampen
the Ad Council's efforts to release the PSA's.
