This drug is not contraindicated during breastfeeding.  The amount the baby
gets is very small, and, according to Hale, less than what a baby would get
if he went to the tropics and was taking chloroquine to prevent malaria.  It
does have a half life which is very long, but still, it is not necessary to
force a 29 month old to wean.
