I think that part of LLL or any other group's prenatal support is in 
identity formation.

Moms who come to LLL when pregnant absorb the identity of a Nursing 
Mother.  Then when trouble hits, they think, "Oh, a bump in the road.  
I'm a nursing mom and I can get through this." rather than, "What a 
pain.  It's simpler to just give a bottle."
