Thanks to Dr. Louder for his often amusing post ( I laughed at the image of
you tooling through the mall with your finger in your little one's mouth. I
have done this too..while driving!! : ) )
You say
"Have these companies ever
brought donuts or pens or paper pads while giving information on their wares?
If so, then LCs and others may be cast under the same spells as the docs...."
You know what? It would take a LOT of donuts to equal the money that has
been taken by the AAP by formula companies. How many donuts can you get for
several million dollars? : ) (And that is NOT meant as an ethnic joke/!! :
/ )
Gotta keep a sense of humor..and point well taken about the pot calling the
kettle black. No IBCLC should, in my opinion, accept money from abm
company....tit for tat doesn't make it right. Pump companies, or nursing
clothing companies, however, do not break the WHO code by donating (or
donutting)...BIG difference.
