Friends,
I'm involved in an exciting project about which I'll tell you more later.
Right now I need a little info.
1. Does the UK have the worst breastfeeding rate in Europe? I thought it was
Ireland that did, but I've just heard differently. And of course there are
different ways of defining "breastfeeding rate."
2. What is the price for human milk, for instance banked donor milk, in the
UK? The price charged to the recipient is what I'm looking for. In the U.S.
it's about $2.50 an ounce (over $80 a liter). The milk itself is actually
free; the money that changes hands is considered a processing fee.
We are working on a submission whose due date is Friday, but I'm going to be
at work all day Friday, so I need to get the information Thursday.
TIA.
