In the LLL "The breastfeeding Answer Book," 3rd revised edition, pg. =
229, this problem is addressed. It states, that some "moms produce milk =
high is lipase, the enzyme that breaks down fat in ...milk." It is =
suggested that these moms may find it necessary to scald the milk before =
freezing to deactivate the enzyme. Hope this helps.
