I'm reading this thread with interest, as I was wondering about using
such dressings just the other day.

My local LC's solution is:  apply a drop of milk after nursing, and "air
dry" (i.e. like by fanning with a piece of paper) so that some humidity
remains.  Add a tad of Lansinoh or Purelan, then put a piece of saran
wrap over top of that.  Sounds similar to those wound pads in how it
might work, though this would be less breathable.

I wondered, with her way, whether those "shower-cap" type things you can
buy to put over bowls of salad or whatever could be used.  They might
even stay on the breast by themself with the elastic.  ;-)
