I've been mostly lurking or scanning lately as we've been baby-happy with
lots of births at work....enjoying the cb ed messages. I too think we
should mention breastfeeding at each class - weave it into so many
diffrent topics. In fact, I've been invited to present just this topic at
the ASPO wkshp in Denver in October. Wahoo!
Also presented this topic in Vermont at a VLCA (Vermont LC) wkshp -- you
should have heard the gasps from educators when I tore apart almost an
entire American Baby class handout. (You won't need these bottles...this
infant seat....this crib...this diaper rash cream...etc etc etc) I
literally tore it apart -- ripped out each ad for things they wouldn't
need and tossed the ad over my shoulder. We had quite a mess on the
floor.
My latest has been handing out samples of E----- and S---- to taste.
Yuck!
