I learned to say it correctly as a Leader Applicant.  In Canada, with a
strong french influence, LLL is almost universally called La "Lesh"
League, and everyone assumes it is a french word.  A previous member
used to call it "boobs" and "boobs elite" referring to our regular
series and enrichment meetings.
