Rosellina, I have never seen in the literature or heard of a baby
contracting Hepatitis B from a used breast pump.
Again, if a researchist wants to recruit a mother who is positive for Hep B,
have her use a variety of pumps and then find out if then using those pumps
again transfers the virus, then I would be convinced. This research would
also have to be unbiased to any pump company.

What I am reading from others about mold and bacteria in pumps is worrisome
not for people using other's pumps but the same mother using her own over and
over again. Where is the data that shows babies are getting sick from
pumped milk? I am just saying show me the science.
