Thanks for the rest of your post, Morgan. There's another aspect here
related to physical attack: the calling of the police. This is a direct
threat of physical force. The police were called by the restaurant
management with the intention that they remove the woman by force if
necessary. 

For women to be menaced by the threat of attack by law enforcement
simply because they are mothering in public is a massive civil rights
violation of our rights as human beings, and I'm always a bit gobsmacked
when people try to imply that "it's no big deal". 

This is part of the wider battle for women and children to be truly
considered full human beings in every way. A civil rights battle doesn't
stop just because the killings slow down in one part of the world.
