A similar issue was also brought to my attention by the Parent-L listmum,
Narelle Clark. In Australia there have been public skirmishes between
Facebook and law authorities over cooperation related to accessing account
information and stopping or investigating crimes in progress. That was in
connection with the murder of a teen who was stalked by someone using
Facebook.

I hope their IPO filing results in an overhaul of their operations.
