One problem we often get is a mom that has to go back to work and whose
baby refuses all bottles. A mom just called to let me know her solution.
She found her baby would take her milk from ANY bottle or nipple, as long
as the milk was heated to 98.6 degrees (human body temperature).
It makes sense. My husband is willing to eat cold pizza - but unless it's
HOT, I'm not interested.
Probably the flavors and even the aromatics are more tempting to the baby.
What the mom noted was that she had to use a thermometer to check it - as
it felt very hot to her wrist (the way she usually checked to make sure she
didn't burn the baby's mouth).
