I think Lisa is asking an excellent question.  But we also have to ask about
the *process* of breastfeeding and it's potential effect on mental
health......is a baby who was fed with a propped bottle more likely to suffer
depression as an adult?  And what about babies who cry for long periods until
the clock says it's feeding time?

We will have a very hard time sorting all of this out, but it is important
stuff.
