How about this classic bad advice - "your baby is using you as a pacifier,  only breastfeed for 20 minutes. "

Breastfeed every 2 to 3 hours.
Are you sure you are making enough milk? 
If the baby nurses longer than 30 minutes,  then you are probably not making enough milk. 

Babies don't need breast milk after a year.  If mothers nurse longer they will make the baby dependent on them.
Tongue ties aren't real. 
I was formula fed and turned out fine.
I don't believe that introducing bottles, formula, pacifiers, etc, right away interferes with breastfeeding. 
You can't pick up the baby every time they cry or you will spoil them.
