Here's my sample of 4. Among my 4 children, only 1 (my oldest) developed some asthma-type symptoms, which persist in mild form to this day (she is 25 yrs). She was given formula in the hospital for 2 days back in the dark ages when her jaundice was blamed on "problems with my breastmilk" and our
blood incompatibility (I'm A neg, she is O pos). Once home, at 4 days of age, she was weaned off bottles by one week and never had another drop of formula. For a time during adolescence, she had an inhaler which she used infrequently. Now, though she sounds "croupy" and wheezy when she gets
colds or is out in the cold (which is all the time these cold days!), she doesn't use an inhaler. None of my other children have had this problem, though one did get formula for a couple of feedings for the same issue, also back in the dark ages.
Marsha, who is SICK of the cold and snow and anxiously awaiting news from her military son that he has made it safely to Germany!
