Can anybody help me with this one? I work as a full-time LC in our local
hospital. We do not run a breastpump rental station, but do provide
electric breast pumps and parts to women who are hospitalized. We purchased
new parts in January, but are finding a large attrition rate - in fact, half
of the parts we purchased have gone missing. Does anyone have any ideas for
preventing this? We don't want to seem as though we are accusing moms of
stealing, or to have to set up a policing system where they have to sign out
parts. Our NICU is busy and I am reluctant to ask the nurses to take on
this task. Currently, the sterile packaging is discarded by each mom when
they set up to pump and is freely available in the pump rooms.

Jeanne Hagreen, from Prince George, where I believe spring has at long last
sprung! We finally got leaves on the trees this week and that's almost a
month late!
