Hi everyone!

I client of mine, who has had low milk production since day 1, called me today. She has been on domperidone for the past few months, which helps her produce 3 oz. instead of 1 oz. when pumping. Her baby does not latch, and I know part of her low supply is related to inconsistency in milk production. However, lab results are pending to rule out any other conditions. I also suspect a little bit of insufficient glandular tissue in the left (if it's possible for it to be unilateral).

What is the recommended duration of being on daily domperidone?

Thanks!
