I'm ripping my hair out.

No sooner did I write about one nipple grabbing episode than I get a pediatrician referred client who
had the exact same scenario happen to her, along with her baby being held in the nursery for 7
hours despite asking for her baby to be brought to her when her baby was hungry. She's terribly
engorged. This may be a tipping point for me.

I'm going to ask for the referring pediatrician's assistance on this one and see what can be done with
a seminar with some provocative title such as "Nipple Rape Prevention, Let's Stop Abuse of
Postpartum Women"

While I see cases from almost all hospitals in the city, there is one in particular that has no lactation
consultant on staff and can never seem to keep one on staff.

Seriously, I am going to talk to at least one obstetrician and one pediatrician that having visiting
priviledges there about how to try to influence change in this particular hospital. Its really out of
control.

Best, Susan
