It is saddening indeed to hear of the sudden passing of Dr. Baum.

It was my privilege to hear him give several lectures in 1970 at the
University of Colorado, where my hospital sent me for a 3 week perinatal
care workshop as we got ready to switch from "oldtime standard OB care"
to perinatal care at our institution. .

His enthusiasm was infectious and he richly deserved the respect shown by
his colleagues.

Thank you Esther for posting links to so many of his articles. I plan to
read every one of them, in his memory.
