Hello wise and wonderful people,
I have a woman who recently birthed whose baby has an unusual disorder which means it retains potassium to very high levels, even leading to cardiac arrest. Baby is full term. A.t.m.  peads don't want to feed baby breastmilk, as it is too high in potassium and so baby is on low potassim formula. Has anyone heard of this syndrome and is there anyway we can extract the potassium out of the breastmilk. Thanks in advance.
Lisa
