My last client's mother bought a copy of this book "The Happiest Baby on the
Block", and at first I gagged, until I saw that she also bought
"Bestfeeding," because, she said, "It had lots of good pictures." Chalk one
up for grandma.

Babe was sleeping, so me and my client perused the books. I was very
curious about who the heck this Dr. Karp guy was, and I was pleasantly
surprised that there's a new book out that actually says, don't give the
baby anything artificial if you can help it. Great book from what I read of
it. I'd plunk down the dough to buy it on eBay or half-price books (because
I'm cheap :). I hope LLLI puts it in the catalog. It's more mainstream
than Dr. Sears and not quite so pushy about attachment parenting. Very
pro-breastfeeding and pro-mother/baby dyad. I think it will appeal to the
majority of deer-in-the-headlights new parents.
