I wanted to respond to what Rachael said about LLL members who are not
Leaders becoming activists on behalf of the organization. We can all be
activists, Leaders or not, but when we write letters to the editor, respond
to TV stations about their coverage, or indulge in any political activity, we
do it as concerned mothers, lactation consultants, medical personnel, or
whatever. The thought of unleashing anyone who is not a Leader into the
public domain as a representative of LLL, could open an enormous can of
worms. Lets just stick to being concerned citizens.
