Lisa, that's not all that often for a new baby - though it's clearly 
keeping her ticking along ok, it's maybe not enough to ensure she 
grows as she might otherrwise do. Can you keep her skin to skin and 
respond to every little feeding cue?

No, she won't - why would she? :) She has been inside you until just 
2 weeks ago. Objecting to being apart from you is normal, welcome, 
developmentally appropriate and great for milk supply.

As ever, where there is concern about weight gain, the simplest and 
most likely explanation is that the baby needs more access to the 
breast, and cue-feeding and skin to skin is the easiest way to 
respond to that.  You could also try breast compression if you think 
she needs it - but honestly, simply upping the frequency of breast 
access is likely to do the trick.

It's easier than pumping, it's easier than herbs.
