Good morning all. 
 
I found these two articles and am in the process of providing staff with  
this updated information for healthy term infants. I think Ilana makes a  
good point that requiring a woman to pump when she is producing a good quantity 
 of milk and infant is effectively feeding when using the shield could be  
detrimental to continuing the nursing relationship. Hope these are helpful
