Sorry to clutter the list, but I wanted to send out a personal note
that can serve as a good reminder to all of us. one of my oldest and
dearest friends gave birth at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut a few
weeks ago.

Dee Campbell was the LC. My friend went to her when she could not
figure out what she was doing (didn't nurse her twelve year old and
had difficulties learning from a book).

My friend called me to tell me that Dee had spent three hours with
her last week and gave her the confidence and the tools to
effectively breastfeed her new daughter.

I wanted to thank Dee (if she is on the list) and remind us all why
our work is so important.
