one mom i know was recently having pain that she thought was still baby
related but when i went to see her, I found the baby doing everything
'right' and the mom using a boppy and allowing the baby to nurse
basically hanging barely onto the n ipple.

it was interesting to see what the mom had been describing as a good,
open, widemouth, yawning latch.

on another front, a different baby who did have his tongue clipped at 2
weeks, is still, at 14 weeks, not really nursing well and not doing
great wtih his tongue at the breast. it's hard b/c in this case,
they've btdt with the OT, the suck training.....mom is so patient and so
persistent. dad is so supportive. they're great. this baby just
doesn't nurse well.....they're still always working toward that goal
though. this mom will never give up.

best of luck to you.
