Greetings from Kay in Jacksonville Fl.
I would not use the short BM for breastmilk On our daily assighnment
sheet and report kardexes and also on our official L & D record where it
lists the feeding choices we use Br for breastfeeding. On our daily
assighnment
sheet we may have on an average twenty two babies on the list and am
happy to say there will be 18 to 20 Br showing next to their names. We
use NW [ Nurse Well } , NP, DNN in the front of our nurses flow sheet
notes along with EBM when appropriate. In my narratives I refer
to brfdg.
Warmly Kay.
