I too am an RD. We also had to try to prepare formula using proper sterile
technique and drink it. This made quite an impression. Perhaps this should be
taught in every high school science class to show how time consuming and
difficult this is.  Tasting is believing.  I  always challenge any parent or
adult who advocates formula to live on it for 48 hours. If you can do this
without throwing up.......
