I jsut got a notice in the mail about a meeting of the Mass.Public
Health Association. The topic is "David v. Goliath (Joe Camel)
Taking onthe Tobacco Industry - Lessons for Public Health." It looks
like an interesting meeting with sessions on "taking Legal Action at the
Local Level," Litigation as a Public Policy Tool," etc. Since breastfeeding
advocates have begun to use the tobacco industry as a model for formula
company tactics and how to fight them, I thought this might be of interest
to some lactnetters.
  The meeting is in Cambridge on Fri. Nov. 8 9am - 1pm
