Does anyone know of any documentation for the practice of taking a
young (under 3 mos) baby off the breast one or more times during a
feed to bring up a bubble, in cases where baby seldom settles for more
than a short time after a feed, spits up a lot after feeds, or seems
restless/unhappy at the breast?
If you have used this technique and it has led to an improvement in
the baby, please post about your experience. What led you to suggest
this and what changes for the better did you see? Are there certain
cases you know of in which this might be the preferred approach?
If you don't know of documentation but have heard this advice given to
new mothers, what are your thoughts about how it came to be accepted
practice in your community?
Eagerly awaiting the collective list wisdom here, and genuinely curious,
