Some moms need to leave the breasts fuller for longer than one feed.
Gradually increasing the amount of time between breast switches is
usually enough to make the supply comfortable for the baby. Diane
Wiessinger had at least one client who had to go 12 hours between changes.
The gut should heal, and baby should be able to go back to
breastfeeding. The longest any baby needed to be on Neocate in my
practice was 2 weeks.
