How disappointing it is to hear the latest news regarding the breastfeeding
ad campaign.  Sadly, I am disappointed but not surprised, after all the
formula companies have strong financial power and if the truth gets out they
stand to lose millions.

 It is still very exciting that there even is a campaign and I am truly
thankful for all of those who have worked so hard on such a important and
difficult project.

It does make me smile to think of those formula execs getting all nervous
and sweaty, discussing the big bad breastfeeding supporters.  The concern
over mothers feeling guilty if their infant has leukemia makes me wonder ,
shouldn't they be more concerned over the fact that mom's might blame the
physicians and the companies for not telling them the risks?

It really is a shame, we are bombarded with fake warnings about the silliest
of things...large tabloids that warn us " could kissing cause cancer?"  and
other ridiculous things.  But when it comes to the truth about breastfeeding
and the real and dangerous risks of infant formula, we are treated like
mushrooms.
