Hi, Laurie,

>Diana
>Did she try increasing her salt intake? I think that is in the archives.

Yes, I did read that, but didn't suggest it to her initially because I was
trying to sort out all the possible solutions and present only those that I
felt would have a higher likelihood of helping so as not to overwhelm
her. Now that those methods have not proven successful, we're now looking
at other possible solutions, such as dietary factors that have been
suggested privately and on-list in response to my post (e.g., increased
sodium, reduced fat, and increased vitamin C -- she is trying each in
isolation, starting with reduced fat, to most clearly evaluate the
result). I have very little experience with the influence of such dietary
factors, so I will be very interested to see if they are effective.

Good point.

>and get a flange to fit exactly?

This is an excellent point and one that did not occur to me
initially. After about a week or so of working with her, though, I did
take measurements, but found that her size was appropriate to the flange
she was using.

This was one of my first thoughts. She does wear a bra both day and
night. But it is a lightweight *barely* sports-bra type -- the model
usually sold as a "night bra." It has no underwires and isn't tight at
all. It doesn't even have any elastic support bands. The only reason she
wears it is to hold her pads in place (she leaks copiously).

>Just brainstorming here.

Thank you! From brainstorming come the best ideas! I really appreciate it!
