Just checked the ILCA webpage and the 2007 press release is out. Sending this to media outlets is a great way to promote our unique services and our important position on the health care team.

In Syracuse, our BF Network is holding an "honoring ceremony" for new IBCLCs in our community. We bought IBCLC pins from MILCC and will present them to our new IBCLC colleagues in formal ceremony. We will watch an educational  video and share a journal article and enjoy some Italian cookies and coffee. We are inviting new LCs as well, hoping to encourage them to continue their professional development and one day join the IBCLC ranks.

We are interested in learning about what other communities are doing. Can we post and share. Thanks, Anne
